Cowgirl from New Zealand

During the volunteering. A tiny cute girl about 6 yrs old or so approached me and asked me where i was born and said i have an accent.

Later on, she decided to introduce me to her friends: “Claudia sister is from new zealand and she’s a cowgirl (because of my braid). Isn’t she pretty??”

No joke, best compliment in a while.
Maybe because i was sweating and in active wear and never considered that would be pretty. Or because i think children are more honest and straight forward?
They care about how you treat them and not only on what you look like.

Thank you xiao mei mei, u made my day :)

Weekend wrap-up

Only one thing left to do before this weekend ends; shower.

This weekend I:

- Went on date with M

- Managed to have a stranger trying to kiss me

- Met up with new friends and danced until I lost my memory and almost had to be carried home.

- Bit someone..really hard

- Picked up J from airport followed by a well needed dinner date!

- Sweating and shaking it out at CrossFit

- Went on a motorcycle ride

- Cooked for the week to come

What?

Yes, I’m pretty ready for the next week to come!

Bring it on!

Saturday morning Kayaking

Good morning!

Had to wake up at 6.00 on a Saturday :(

Waiting for the MRT (subway) to literally go from one end of Singapore to the other end!
Going to Raffles Marina to meet up with other people from our sister company to kayak to Puteri Harbour Malaysia. Duration: 9.00-16.00.

I’m pretty excited since I’ve never done anything like this before.
Not so excited to be the only representative from our company though haha

Let’s hope I don’t flip the kayak and fall into the water…

Have a good day!
