During the volunteering. A tiny cute girl about 6 yrs old or so approached me and asked me where i was born and said i have an accent.
Later on, she decided to introduce me to her friends: “Claudia sister is from new zealand and she’s a cowgirl (because of my braid). Isn’t she pretty??”
No joke, best compliment in a while.
Maybe because i was sweating and in active wear and never considered that would be pretty. Or because i think children are more honest and straight forward?
They care about how you treat them and not only on what you look like.
Thank you xiao mei mei, u made my day
